Exit from the Madding Room, 2022—2021

Oversized drawings, Prismacolor pencils, pastels on sanded paper.

I imagined massive sketchbooks about a year before I began this project. But it wasn't until I completed the series of drawings that I realised why I should make them look like open pages in an oversized notebook. It would match my belief concerning my earthly self: a figure coming out of a story, a projection of the mind—a thought emanation.
