Continuum

I begin with an idea, but as I work, another dream takes over. We live in a perfect continuum. Ideas are constantly changing …thoughts are transforming, it is the natural process of creation…a new thought that fights for its birth into form. There is always this inner fight between the idea I have dreamt up and the new thought - not empirically based in experience... and the seduction of a new experience always runs the show.

In 2014 I felt compelled by the Romanian cultural context to create art outside museums or galleries, non-elitists objects that are not necessary labeled as art. I created Diorama & Colours of My Life, two fashion brands, designing handbags in limited edition while integrating digital art. Some bags remained unsold but instead of discounting them from their original price, as in fashion industry, the seductive new idea was to bring what people would not label as art into the art space…not something new in the history of art but a new experience for me… and for them to follow the trail of what they liked to wear and therefore to discover more.
